14th Annual Fishers Blues Fest
Fishers’ Labor Day weekend tradition is back September 5 + 6, 2026!
For more than a decade, the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater has been host to local, regional, and world-renowned blues musicians annually. Fishers Blues Fest prides itself on being one of the most accessible blues festivals in the country. Admission is free, and no tickets are required. Free parking surrounds the venue, and the festival is an all-ages, all-abilities event. All are welcome.
Chairs blankets, and coolers are welcome with the exception of outside alcohol (Indiana Code 7.1-5-8-4). Vendors will be on site selling food, drinks, and alcohol.

About the Artists
Judith Hill
Gutsy and nuanced as a vocalist, Judith Hill is an accomplished songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist – and one of the few musicians who can cite Elton John, Spike Lee, Prince, and Michael Jackson among those who have sought out her talent. One of the highest-profile background singers of her generation, she got her start in the early 2000s, and in the next decade established a solo career built upon a discography of increasingly refined and creative albums that includes the Prince-produced Back in Time (2015), Golden Child (2018), Baby, I’m Hollywood! (2021), and her recent album, Letters from a Black Widow (2024).
Jontavious Willis
Jontavious Willis is resolved in his mission: to reinvigorate today’s Blues with the spirit of the past. Inspired by a time when the Blues were plentiful and rhythm reigned supreme, Willis’ leverages his unique sound—a synthesis of his Georgia heritage and reverence for traditional Blues—to get the world dancing again. A Grammy-nominated musician and songwriter, Willis performs original, toe-tapping tunes in the style of Delta, Piedmont, Texas, and Gospel Blues. Dynamic vocals, technical prowess, and an abundance of Southern charm keep Willis sending jolts of vitality through the Blues community.
Dylan Triplett
An emerging blues musician from St. Louis, Dylan Triplett has made a significant mark in the thriving blues scene With his soulful voice and raw emotion, he has captivated audiences across the country and around the globe. A 2023 Blues Award winner, Triplett seamlessly combines classic blues elements with his unique style, creating a sound that’s both timeless and contemporary. His electrifying performances, whether delivering heartfelt ballads or energizing the crowd with upbeat tunes, showcase his genuine talent undeniable charisma.
Mathias Lattin
Mathias Lattin won the 2023 International Blues Challenge and Best Guitarist at the tender of 20-years old; conceivably making him the youngest to win both. The grandson of NBA Hall of Famer, David “Big Daddy” Lattin, he displays his talent on the stage not the basketball court. He began his foray into the Houston Blues scene when he was 12 years old. Jonn Del Toro Richardson invited him to attend the weekly Blues jam he hosted at The Big Easy. He garnered national attention when he joined the Keeshea Pratt Band (IBC 2018) in 2020. After touring with the Keeshea Pratt Band and joining Brazilian Bluesman Cris Crochemore for the 2022 IBC, Mathias decided to take a shot at the IBC as front man.
King Bee + The Stingers
King Bee & The Stingers, a regional favorite, performs throughout the Midwest, delivering original tunes ranging from roadhouse funk to soul to distinctive interpretations of blues classics. Founded in 2006, the band is known for its crowd-pleasing live performances. Currently, the lineup features five multi-talented veteran musicians: guitarist Matt Boat, bassist Jeff Shew, drummer Paul Karaffa, harp player Mark Carnes, and lead vocalist Sarah Menefee, daughter of the band’s founder, Mark “King Bee” Menefee.
JR Clark Band
With more than 11 album releases under their belt, the JR Clark Band is known for its original compositions from bandleader JR Clark, specializing in a Chicago Blues sound and forming his stage presence from mentor Lil’ Ed Williams of Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials. The band consists of various artists who have toured internationally. Alligator Record recording artist and Chicago Blues Hall of Famer Johnny B. Gayden holds down the bottom on Bass. Johnny B was Bassist for Albert Collins and the Ice Breakers for many years. Johnny played on the Grammy-winning album “Show Down” with Albert Collins, Robert Cray and Johnny Clyde Copeland. Johnny B. Gayden has also recorded with Johnny Winter, Gary Moore, BB King and a host of other Alligator Records artists.
Mojo Gumbo Band
Local to Indianapolis, Mojo Gumbo combines Mississippi-style blues with Creole and Cajun roots. Regularly playing the Slippery Noodle Inn, band members Steve “Scrapper” Brown, Tom Lindmar, Matt Weaver, and Matt Knot make up the four-piece group.
The Blues Brothers Triumphant Tribute
The triumphant return of the Blues Brothers is comprised of two siblings fronting their very own blues band. They saw the light and put the band back together! Come enjoy Jake, Elwood, and the band!

Know Before You Go
ADMISSION
- Tickets: No tickets or pre-registration are required for Blues Fest events. Admission is completely free.
- Gates + Show Time: On both evenings, gates will open at 4 p.m., and the first sets will begin at 5 p.m. Lawn space is first-come, first-served.
ACCESSIBILITY
- Parking: Accessible parking is located in the surface parking lot at 3 Municipal Drive, directly adjacent to the venue at the southeast edge. Overflow accessible parking is located in the Fishers Police Department parking garage at 4 Municipal Drive.
- Restrooms: Portable accessible restrooms will be available on both the east and west sides of the lawn, as well as in the Pavilion building at the south side of the venue.
- Seating: Accessible picnic-table seating is available at the back of the front lawn on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Sensory Bags + Assisted-Listening Devices: Sensory resource bags and assisted-listening devices are available for checkout at the ID check tent.
BAG POLICY + PROHIBITED ITEMS
- Bags: For this event, no bag restrictions are in place, but security will be on site conducting security screenings.
- Chairs + Blankets: Chairs and blankets are permitted. We ask that guests please do not bring high-rise or high-back chairs. Space on the lawn is first-come, first-served.

Free street and garage parking is available throughout the Nickel Plate District by utilizing parking garages, surface parking lots, and street parking. Accessible parking will be available at the south City Services Building parking lot at 3 Municipal Drive, Fishers.
