When the vision of the AMP was born, the City of Fishers had goal of creating a vibrant, destination downtown gathering place for the community. Created as the anchor of the Nickel Plate District, the AMP hosted its first concert in 2012, and since then has truly become the place to be year-round, launching to the level of a regional destination to hear up-and-coming artists and world-recognized and renowned musicians from all over the country.
Firmly taking its place as a premier destination to hear outdoor, live music, the Nickel Plate District is also home to community events like summer farmers markets, movies in the park, street festivals, and so much more.
